The Base Technologies, Inc. (BTI) Team won a government contract, in May of 2000, to provide technology solutions to the MHS. Under this contract, known as D/SIDDOMS II, Lot IV, the BTI Team will conduct market research and surveys to identify commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and government off-the shelf (GOTS) healthcare informatics and advanced technology items and components that meet MHS program objectives. The BTI Team, which offers a full range of services , will evaluate, test, and assess technology insertion characteristics of identified products, and prepare a procurement document for government purchase and deployment of those products. BTI also provides support to the MHS in meeting facilitation and contract administration needs. Supporting the MHS: The BTI Team uses a proven, standardized, and streamlined process that is faster and less costly than traditional acquisition processes. Using this process, which is fully compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations, BTI provides timely and effective technology solutions for the MHS.
