Seaway Food Town, Inc. and its consolidated subsidiaries operate in one business segment that consists of the sale and distribution of food, drugs and related products to retail customers, principally through 47 supermarkets and 26 drugstores. Principal markets include northwest and central Ohio and southeast Michigan. The Company operates supermarkets under the names of Food Town, Food Town Plus and Kash N Karry, and discount drugstores under the name of The Pharm, within an area of about 150 miles from the Company's Maumee, Ohio headquarters.
