Covenant Day School is committed to equipping our students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. An essential part of this preparation is teaching students to use modern technology to access, analyze, organize, synthesize, and communicate information. CDS provides access to sophisticated technology through computer labs and through our innovative laptop program. Beginning in Lower School, CDS students have access to computer technology. In Lower School, computer instruction centers on teaching basic familiarity with computers and essential keyboarding skills. In Middle School, computer instruction revolves around building upon the skills gained in the Lower School and bringing the application of computer technology to real world situations. High School students use their laptop computers in most disciplines throughout the day.
