Founded in 2003, Mary Beth West's independent consulting practice specializes in strategic public relations and reputation management programs that enhance organizations' abilities to reach sales objectives and/or other financial, business development and advancement goals. With a multi-state client roster, Mary Beth's growing base of consulting work includes accounts in the hospitality, entertainment, real estate, manufacturing, energy, market research, mergers and acquisitions, consumer financial services and non-profit development sectors. In five years as an independent, Mary Beth has built a client portfolio and annual billings to nearly three times the national industry average for solo public relations consultancies in the U.S. The 2006 recipient of the Public Relations Society of America's Harvey I. Cobert Award for professional contributions in the East Tennessee market, Mary Beth opened an office in downtown Maryville, Tenn., two years ago. She routinely works with a team of other independents with diverse backgrounds in strategic public relations management on a range of mutual client projects and long-term campaigns.
