Jennifer L. Jones, M.D. grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and graduated first in her class. For this accomplishment, she received the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation as well as numerous other awards. Dr. Jones completed two years of internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts before beginning her training in dermatology. She then completed her dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School, where she was selected as chief resident during her final year.
