MCAC was founded in 1986 by a concerned group of local citizens who believed that the arts have a compelling place in our lives and the lives of our children. Where are we located? Visit our Directions Page. When are we open? Admission is FREE and we are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm during scheduled exhibitions and shows. Just tell the gate operator you are going to MCAC. See Exhibitions and Events for the full schedule. The Art Center will be closed on Easter, Memorial Day, and Thanksgiving weekends (Friday's, Saturdays and Sundays), and on June 6, 7 and 8, 2008 (weekend before Juried Show for Juried Show receiving). Note: In the event of inclement weather, please call to check for possible closure of the Art Center.
