The Settlement Company started in June of 1995 in Manassas, Virginia. The operation expanded its offices to Warrenton, Virginia in April of 2004. Our offices are licensed to conduct settlements for all counties in the State of Virginia. The owner of The Settlement Company, Melissa A. Burroughs, is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has been involved in the business of real estate closings since 1991.
