BVA was founded in 2003 by Kenton Thompson as an independent business valuation and litigation support firm. Having spent over 20 years in professional and managerial positions and seeing the need for a firm that could provide these services without having the extensive real or perceived independence issues of delivering these services from within a large multi-discipline financial services firm, like a large CPA or Financial Planning firm, Mr. Thompson founded Business Valuation Advisors, Inc. to fill this need in the marketplace.
