PanVera has produced hundreds of recombinant proteins for commercial sale focusing on protein families that are of broad interest from a therapeutic perspective; including nuclear receptors, protein kinases, and drug metabolizing enzymes. In most cases, PanVera is the only commercial manufacturer. In addition, we have produced many proteins under contract for customers requiring specialized material in milligram to gram quantities. This work has come from large pharmaceutical companies with whom we have developed successful ongoing relationships. The proteins are typically used in high throughput drug screening, structure function studies, or for diagnostic purposes.
