Southern Construction & Design, Inc. was established in May 1997 to provide residential design, construction, and management services to the North Alabama region. SCD Inc., a family owned business, is comprised of two owners, Bob Goff and John Allen, who are father and son-in-law. The company is committed to providing a superior level of service to our clientele, with a focus on project management and planning, communication, and the utilization of superior materials and craftsmen. Not only do we have building experience in our backgrounds, but we also have a variety of other skill sets. This has allowed us to creatively take hold of technologies of today and apply them to the homes we build of the future. SCD Inc.'s quality control program constantly evaluates areas of improvement to maximize the successful implementation of remodeling, additions, and new construction projects. The company is involved locally with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Madison, Alabama Society of Professional Engineers, Leadership Huntsville Madison County, Home Builders Association of Alabama, National Association of Home Builders, the Huntsville Committee of 100, and the Huntsville Madison County Builders Association.
