Water Ready is a company devoted to things people enjoy most with water sports and family fun on the water. Services such as, maintaining & inspections of boats and trailers, restoration, to custom built parts and accessories. Specialty products include custom-built swim platforms, homeowner docks, cataraft rentals and sales, and radio control boats. I have been in the marine industry professionally for almost twenty years. A native of Oregon, growing up on the coast, influenced by my father, Joe Bittler, owner of Bittler Brothers Sporting Goods, in Newport, fishing and water sports have played a major role in life. From working at a local shipyard repairing Commercial boats, commercial fisherman, Alaska River fishing guide in Yakutat, to Plant Supervisor at SmokerCraft/Sylvan Boats, I have seen engineering and technology evolve extensively. For a short time I worked for Greenwood Products as a wood expert working with boat manufacturers all across the United States. Although Greenwoods inventions and think tank atmosphere was intriguing, my heart was still working with boats and the people who enjoy the things we do. We started Water Ready to do just that. Our showroom is not large, but our interest in finding what is needed is. Whether it is accessorizing with stereos, to bilge pumps, to outfitting your boat with OEM parts if gone bad, etc. We are building cataraft frames for the fast growing sport of river and lake adventures.
