Inland Water Sports, Inc. is located at 418 Union Street in Luzerne, PA, and is the only full retail dive store in Luzerne County. We carry a complete line of SCUBA gear from such companies as U.S. Divers , Oceanic,USA , Sherwood, DUI , and Henderson. We have a well-stocked rental department, and we offer full service on most brands of SCUBA gear. We offer SCUBA instruction using the world-renowned SSI teaching system and we also offer SCUBA training sanctioned by Handicap SCUBA of America (HSA) to the physically challenged. Merge with the North Cross Valley Expressway to Exit 6. Take a left at the traffic light, and the store on the right as you pass underneath the Cross Valley Expressway. Our local weather is conducive for diving year-round. Water temperatures range in the upper 40s in the Spring to the low-mid 50s during the Summer and Fall. If the Winter is cold enough, we ice dive on several local lakes. A complete 7mm wet suit will give adequate thermal protection throughout most of the diving season, but a dry suit is strongly recommended if you plan to ice dive.
