At Eager, Davis & Holmes, Dave provides marketing and client service consulting to investment management firms. Dave also assists organizations that are interested in making equity investments and acquisitions in the investment management industry. Prior to forming Eager, Davis & Holmes LLC in 2002 with his long-time colleague Glenn Davis, Dave spent two years as Driehaus Capital Management's Director for Product Development. Dave began his career at Gerber Products Company where he was responsible for the firm's retirement plan assets including running the in-house equity portfolio. From Gerber Dave went to A.G. Becker (later SEI) where he helped open their Houston office and served Becker clients in Texas. In 1978, Dave joined Meidinger Inc. where he ultimately ran their investment consulting unit. After Mercer's acquisition of Meidinger, he ran the Mercer-Meidinger investment consulting practice and was a Global Partner. Mr. Eager left Mercer-Meidinger in 1984 to form Eager & Associates. The firm provided management consulting and marketing research to a wide variety of investment management firms in the U.S. and Europe. The firm's clients included Putnam Investments, Fidelity, Bankers Trust, Capital Guardian, and over 100 other investment firms, ranging from large multi-product firms to boutiques and start ups. Mercer acquired Eager & Associates in 1998 after which Dave continued to manage the company. Mr. Eager received his BA in Economics from The Ohio State University and his MBA with honors from Western Michigan University.
