Description of Pacific Asian Alcohol and Drug Program Inc
The Pacific Asian Alcohol and Drug Program (PAADP) operates on a humanistic and psychosocial philosophy. The goal of our program is to facilitate the growth of our clients/participants and enhance their capacities for self expression, understanding and integrity. This is attained through the clients/participants' own awareness and assessment of her/his needs, emotions, strengths, weaknesses, and acceptances of one's self. This is also attained by changing those environmental factors which impede or interfere with the progress of growth and self-fulfillment. All of these are accomplished by taking responsibility of our actions and feelings, and making the kind of life we want for ourselves regardless of challenges and barriers.
