Tinlark Gallery opened in January 2007 to provide a welcoming environment in which new and returning collectors can find affordably priced art from the nation's best emerging artists. We are committed to searching out the finest young talent and providing them the opportunity to realize their artistic vision in a supportive environment. Our firm belief is that by nurturing emerging artists, we are helping cultivate new ideas that challenge the status quo of the world around us. The gallery features monthly exhibitions and special events. Craft-making at the openings, inspired by the art on exhibition, allows children (always welcome at our openings) and their parents to create art which we hope will encourage further creative expression at home. Tinlark Gallery Director Cris McCall founded fresh stART (www.freshstartweb.org), an annual Los Angeles charity art sale that to date has raised over $500,000 for therapeutic art programs for at-risk youth. She remains dedicated to supporting underserved children through future fresh stART events and partnerships with local schools and charities interested in programs offered at Tinlark Gallery.
