President Mary Wagstaff founded Wagstaff Worldwide to brand her unique style of relationship marketing, a concept that combines her belief in personalized PR services with a far-reaching global vision. With an ambitious motto-"Today the U.S., tomorrow the world"-and 10 years of industry expertise under her belt, Mary opened her doors in 1998, unaware of just how soon she would begin to exceed her own expectations. Mary entered the field of hospitality public relations in Chicago in 1990, after working for several years in the hands-on side of the restaurant business in New York. In 1995, she founded ProVisions, a PR firm with offices in Chicago and L.A., representing chefs, restaurants, wineries, and specialty food products. In 1998, Wagstaff moved to Los Angeles and joined Murphy O'Brien Public Relations as Vice President, where she managed numerous travel and hospitality accounts, including Aspen's Hotel Jerome and Morton's of Chicago. After starting Wagstaff Worldwide in 1999, Mary soon found herself at the helm of a thriving, innovative PR and marketing firm with clients ranging from her home base in Southern California to such far-flung locales as Australia and Alsace, France. Putting her ideals, passion, and knowledge to work for each client, she has made her dream-to create a worldwide company with an intimate, face-to-face ideology-a reality.
