The UCLA Rehab Services Department consists of 150 staff members, all with specialized expertise to meet patients' needs. Specialty areas include certified hand therapists, orthopedic clinical specialists, neurorehabilitation specialists, low vision, smoking cessation, and gait/balance disorders. Staff members are encouraged to try creative treatment strategies while providing individualized treatment approaches, and the Rehab Department is an integral component of UCLA's Wellness Initiative. Patient satisfaction with all areas of rehab is consistently above 90%, and staff members are active participants in strategic development and problem resolution.
