The Glass Park offers a unique environment for adults and children in Los Angeles to build confidence and express creativity through glass art. Focusing on classes for at-risk youth, the studio provides an outlet of artistic expression through manipulation of hot glass. By unlocking the potential of these young artists, the studio not only teaches teamwork and creative expression, but enforces cognitive learning, and building confidence for life ahead. Based in Glassel Park, adjacent to Silver Lake and Atwater Village, the Glass Park provides studio access, weekly classes, and events to expand Glass Art awareness throughout Los Angeles. Operating as a 501c3 non-profit (application in process), the studio raises funding for classes through donors and fundraising events.
