Frantic Redhead Productions is an international professional film and theatre production company. The theatre company includes professional actors, directors, writers, designers, promoters, musicians and producers from Scotland, the United States, England and Canada. The company has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on an annual basis since 1990 and has also performed for many of those years in Los Angeles. The company is planning performances in 2007/2008 in Los Angeles, London, Edinburgh and New York with the possibility of performances in the north of Scotland and in Seattle. The theatre company has an apprenticeship program and accepts applications from students ages 16-21. Frantic Redhead Productions staff include Ginger Perkins, President and Artistic Director; Mark Erson, Associate Artistic Director; and James Yule, Jenny Wilson, William Immerman, Martin Heller, Morag Fleming, Joyce Heller, and Martin Milne, artistic and producing associates. The film production company develops and produces films in a variety of genres. Most recent productions have included "Children On Their Birthdays" written by Douglas Sloan and directed by Mark Medoff. Ginger Perkins was also one of the producers for Crusader Entertainment's "The Game of Their Lives" written by Angelo Pizzo and directed by David Anspaugh released worldwide in 2005. In development are "Simonne" based on a true story about Simonne Jameson written by Mark Medoff, to be directed by Mark Medoff and produced by Ginger Perkins, William Immerman and Mark Medoff; and "Stone Bird" based on fact with a story by Mary Apick & Kenneth Blackwell and a screenplay by Kenneth Blackwell and F.X. Feeney to be produced by Mary Apick, Diane Baker and Ginger Perkins.
