Black Sheep Entertainment is an independent film and television production company founded in 1990 by writer/director Steven Feder. Black Sheep brings a contemporary, independent sensibility to the development and production of cutting edge feature film and television programming. Among it's credits, Black Sheep has produced the critically acclaimed THE BIG GIG which won three International Grand Prize Awards including the coveted Audience Award at The Hamptons International Film Festival, the COTTONWOOD featured on Showtime's Best of Independent Film Directors Cut Series, as well as the commercially successful romantic comedy IT HAD TO BE YOU, starring Natasha Henstridge (Species) and Michael Vartan (Alias) distributed worldwide by Lions Gate Films. Now in pre-production is HOOKING UP, a dark teen crime drama chronicling a detective's investigation of the apparent suicide of a high school quarterback which leads him and his partner on an unexpected personal journey into a hidden and dangerous world of teenage hooking-up parties.
