AAHU is a fellowship program designed to train HIV/AIDS peer educators to work in Black communities. The program begins with a 30-day intensive in basic, clinical and prevention science of HIV/AIDS followed by a two-year field internship at an HIV/AIDS facility. Fellows return to Los Angeles for two weeks of additional training every six months.
