For more than 30 years, Vinland National Center has been helping people with disabilities lead full and rewarding lives. Through training, education and physical activity, Vinland empowers adults with multiple barriers to independence to live independently and achieve new levels of physical, mental and social health. Vinland's life-changing programs and services are designed to complement and extend beyond traditional rehabilitation, ensuring that people with disabilities receive the services they need. Combining the unique programs and services with Vinland's location on 178 acres of rolling prairie, woods and wetlands overlooking Lake Independence in western Hennepin County, Vinland is able to provide a unique experience that focuses on treating the whole person.
