At Global-5, he develops Community Awareness/Public Information/Public Involvement plans and materials for FDOT Districts 1 and 5. He manages relationships with media, government and industry partners to facilitate the placement of client information in a variety of venues. His creative approach has produced new opportunities for earned media placement through Web, broadcast, print and professional associations. Mike has seven years experience managing day-to-day internal communications operations, including news and promotional writing, proofreading, editing and design; Web management, content writing and editing, and graphic design; and video script writing, direction and production. He has managed multimedia CD and DVD production. He is also trained and experienced in media relations and crisis communication. His media background includes covering local government and religion, and is augmented by more than 25 years of news and documentary photography experience.
