Defined Business Strategies was founded in 1995 to offer clients an " as-needed " staff extension. Since that time the company has expanded to include a number of experienced professionals seeking the opportunity to provide analysis and development guidance outside the corporate structure. DBS currently includes a core staff of six business generalists who are supplemented when appropriate by a large network of industry and technology experts. We have found that by developing associations with nationally recognized specialists we are able to cover a wide variety of high technology markets and products and deliver a consistently high quality product. We have often worked along side corporate staff, but our highest value comes from providing an unfiltered, independent assessment of markets, competitors and business opportunities. By bringing a " fresh set of eyes " and an unfettered focus we have in the past demonstrated the ability to identify new and sometimes unconventional solutions to business issues. Over the years we have developed a business approach that we believe leads to a comprehensive, mutual understanding with our clients of a new project's scope, objectives, and costs.
