Mile High Helicopter is a regional helicopter services company founded by the long time Channel 7 (KMGH) helicopter pilot, Rich Westra. Rich has been flying since he was 18, was a US Army pilot, flew many fire fighting missions in Colorado, is an accomplished / licensed helicopter mechanic, is a senor flight instructor and has amassed more than 15,000 helicopter flight hours. The origins of Mile High Helicopter were centered in helicopter flight instruction. Many of the original senior flight instructors are now the experienced pilots that fly tour flights.
