The Rhode Island Rock Gym offers excellent programs for all climbers. From our competitive climbing team to scout merit badges to competitions, the Rhode Island Rock Gym is very experienced in group activities and special events that involve the thrill of rock climbing. Recreational and Competitive Climbing Teams:: Join the Rhode Island Rock Gym Climbing Team to experience rock climbing in a youth-friendly setting. Scout Merit Badges:: The Rhode Island Rock Gym is an excellent venue for learning the Boy Scout Climbing Merit Badge. Led by our certified merit badge counselors, scouts go through a three part session of climbing and safety clinics. Scouts will learn climbing, belaying, rappelling, advanced knot tying, and rope management techniques in the Climbing Merit Badge Program. Summer Camps:: Information on 2007 summer camps is here! We have several one-week sessions that include indoor climbing exercises and outdoor climbing trips! We also offer three options for week-long outdoor climbing camps! See what's going on!
