U.S. Home Systems, Inc. (U.S. Home) is engaged in the specialty product home improvement business. In its home improvement business, it manufactures or procures, designs, sells and installs custom quality, specialty home improvement products. Its principal product lines include kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing products, including countertops, wood and composite decks and related accessories. Its countertop products include laminate and solid-surface tops, including Corian, Silestone and granite. U.S. Home manufactures certain of its kitchen cabinet refacing products and bathroom cabinetry at its Charles City, Virginia facility. It manufactures wood deck products and accessories at its Woodbridge, Virginia facility. It also maintains a marketing center in Boca Raton, Florida. Effective September 30, 2007, the Company exited the consumer finance business when First Consumer Credit, Inc. (FCC), its consumer finance subsidiary, sold substantially all of its assets to FCC-Finance, LLC.(Source: 10-K)
