John Jackman has over twenty years of experience in video production and video technology. He is widely known in the industry as an expert on DV production, and for his contributions to several industry magazines. Since 1998, he has written exclusively for Digital Video Magazine. He is a moderator for several discussion forums at DV.com, and is an active member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). John is an ordained minister in the Moravian Church, and served for a number of years as the national Director of Video Ministries for that denomination. In 1998, John joined with several other experienced media professionals to form Comenius Communication, Inc., and independent television production company.
