Blue Ribbon Linen Supply, Inc. was founded in 1911 by Charles H White. Originally named C.O.D. Laundry or Clean on Delivery, deliveries were made by horse drawn wagon. In 1964 Pat Lee purchased the business and eventually changed the name to Blue Ribbon Linen Supply, Inc. The original location in historic downtown Lewiston was lost to a fire on May 31st 1973 and then rebuilt in its current location at 2322 16th Avenue in Lewiston, Idaho. Gary and Kathy Stachofsky bought into the business April 1st 1982 and finalized full ownership in 1987. Since then, the sales territory has expanded to include Eastern Washington, Central and North Idaho, and North Eastern Oregon. We have additional locations in Spokane and Ephrata. With the expansion of territories and product lines the process facility has expanded three times, and our work force has quadrupled. In order to serve our customers better we diversified the company into other markets which include Dry Cleaning services and a full line of Janitorial Supplies. Blue Ribbon has a wide variety of products and services to offer and we believe we can be more flexible than our competition. Simply stated, we will put together packages that work for our customers. Blue Ribbon Linen Supply, Inc. is currently transitioning from the first generation to the second generation. Brian, Kevin, and Scott Stachofsky all three of Gary and Kathy's sons are currently working in the company. Brian is the manager of the Driver Staff, Scott Manages the Spokane area, and Kevin manages the operations of the company. All three have worked in the company from the ground up and are proud to continue the tradition of family owned excellence.
