Founded in 1997, Stage Stars Records produces karaoke and accompaniment albums of Broadway showtunes. Months of rehearsals and preparations are carried out before a new album is recorded. While our products are engineered to meet the needs of the professional singer, our albums are also great educational tools for vocal students just beginning their education. Karaoke and Accompaniment tracks are sometimes referred to as Backing Tracks. Stephen M. Pearl has been the senior musical director for the company since its inception. Stephen has worked in the studio with Laurie Beechman, Burgess Meredith, and Laura Branigan. He is a member of ASCAP, wrote the music for the "Share It" Broadway television commercial, and has worked for over 30 years as a professional arranger.
