TmaxSoft was founded in 1997 by Dr. Daeyeon Park, then a Professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Over the past 10 years TmaxSoft has grown into a global company with offices in South Korea, China, Japan and the U.S. As a leader in developing sophisticated solutions, TmaxSoft has experienced a growth rate in excess of 50% each year for the past five years consecutively. TmaxSoft products and solutions have been successfully implemented in high-volume, mission-critical systems ever since the first TmaxSoft product, Tmax (an innovative TP-monitor), was released in 1997. Now TmaxSoft products are available in software markets around the globe and successfully compete against products from the traditional software leaders. TmaxSoft supplies a wide variety of products and solutions, including: OpenFrame, an advanced mainframe rehosting solution and ProFrame, which is used in developing powerful SOA-based total enterprise systems. TmaxSoft's other popular products include: Tmax (Transaction Process Monitor), JEUS (Web Application Server), WebtoB (Web Server) and BizMaster (Business Process Management). TmaxSoft is recognized by both IT institutions and industry leaders as being at the very vanguard of IT technology development. TmaxSoft products are often amongst the first (or even the very first) to receive international certification. For example TmaxSoft's product, JEUS was the first (non-SUN) product in the world to receive Java EE 5 certification and in 2005 two of TmaxSoft's middleware products, JEUS and Tmax, were listed within the Gartner Magic Quadrant (2Q 2005). TmaxSoft is currently pursuing its vision of becoming one of the top five software companies in the world. Towards this goal, TmaxSoft recently shifted its base of global operations to San Jose, Silicone Valley, and is now aggressively expanding into the US and other international software markets.
