The company was founded by David Dennis, an honors graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, in 1980 . We started as a relatively small operation consisting of six employees. As the Austin construction market has grown, so has Dennis Steel. As a result of continuously expanding sales and operations, we relocated into our new facility at 1105 Leander Drive in Leander, Texas, in 1998. The strengths of the company are a solid management team and qualified, dependable employees with a willingness to work hard for our goal of success. Our management team includes Bob Dennis, Business Manager, Michael Dennis, Chief Estimator and Senior Project Manager, Dennis James, Senior Detailer, Sarah Turner, our CPA and Controller, John Ransom, Fabrication Supervisor, and Bill Myers, Field Supervisor. Dennis Steel currently has 68 employees.
