Info
JR Roofing was contracted to replace our flat roof in the fall of 1997. We had a rubber membrane that was deteriorating beyond repair and winter was coming. Not wanting to go with another rubber roof, or back to the original tar and gravel, we began looking for alternatives. JR Roofing offered a product, called Duro-Last, designed for flat roof applications. Al Taphorn, or JR Roofing was quick to respond to our inquirers. He retuned to make an excellent presentation to our Board of Trustees, to answer any questions about the product, installation and their service. The on site staff were pleasant and quick to deal with any difficulties that arose. They were also very understanding of the need to keep the front entrance open, to not work when a funeral was scheduled. Clean up was excellent. After a severe hailstorm, JR Roofing sent a rep out to check our roof, no questions asked. NO damage was detected, which encouraged us about the durability of our new flat roof. We found JR Roofing to be an excellent company to deal with. We had them back to replace our sanctuary roof after the hail storm of 1998. Again they had a superior product, Decra Stone coated steel that met our needs exactly. And it is designed to withstand the large hail we experienced in 1998. Again, we enjoyed a very professional installation by the JR Roofing crew, and were pleased to have John on site during the work. We have had many comments on the striking appearance of our new Decra roof. Many roofs were destroyed in the hail storm. Businesses in town with flat roofs were especially intrigued to learn our Duro-Last flat roof was not damaged. I do not hesitate to recommended JR Roofing, their crew and their products to other churches, individuals, and businesses.
