Site ROI was founded by Jon Richards with the goal of bringing large company website marketing capabilities to small and midsized businesses. After four years of website marketing experience working for Synchrologic, Mr. Richards realized that many companies were not taking full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet, either because they didn't realize what could be done in marketing a website, or they did not have the resources available to implement an effective marketing program. At Synchrologic, Mr. Richards was responsible for website optimization and maintenance, along with with managing the website lead gathering and nurturing process. Prior to Synchrologic, Mr. Richards worked in marketing and product management for Samna Corporation and Lotus Development Corporation. In addition to receiving a patent for a natural language based help system he developed for Lotus, he developed marketing material and product demos, worked with advertising agencies and public relations firms, and developed specifications for the Samna Word and Lotus Ami Pro word processors.
