Aquilent offers company-paid short- and long-term disability coverage for its employees. Short-term coverage, after a seven-day elimination period, replaces 70% of the employee's weekly salary, up to $2,500 weekly, for the first 13 weeks. Long-term coverage replaces 60% of the employee's monthly salary, up to $5,000/month. Flexible Spending AccountsThis plan allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified health care expenses that are not covered by health insurance and for eligible child-care expenses. Transportation Benefit ProgramThe transportation benefit allows those employees using public transportation to get to their work site to pay for their fares using pre-tax dollars (up to $230 per month), and those employees who pay to park their vehicles at their work site or at a public transit site to be reimbursed from pre-tax dollars (up to $230 per month). 401(k)Another significant Aquilent benefit is our 401(k) program. Employees can defer up to $16,500 for 2009. Aquilent match is 50 cents on the dollar, up to 6% of deferred compensation (no matching contributions in excess of 3% of compensation). Vested 100% after 3 years. Employer match can be amended or discontinued anytime by Aquilent on a prospective basis. Employees must be 18 years or older to participate.
