Mobile Air Transport operates on an HP Proliant ML 350 main frame computer with a SCO UNIX operating system. We have been working in conjunction with Datatrac, Inc. in Atlanta, Ga. for the past seven years developing and enhancing the industry software package called STATIS (Shipment Tracking and Tracing Information System). We completed our conversion on April 4, 1997 and were fully trained and operational by May 1, 1997. This software is "State of the Art", which addresses all industry needs, and is upgraded semi annually. We now transmit FSU, POD and charge information both electronically and via fax automatically upon entering the signature into our system. This information is also available by logging on to our Web Site, www.mobileairtrans.com. We have implemented on board computers in selected vehicles for real time information. Our JFK office is fully computerized and is connected to the main frame in ALB via a PSINet dedicated line. We have the capability for all facets of EDI including FSU messaging. Customers can request a logon to access their information via our web site for tracing and charge information. Our goal is to connect all our "Service Partners" electronically to become paperless and keep them informed with FSU's on a real time basis.
