GigaCrete, Inc. was founded in January of 2005 by Andrew Dennis to commercialize the results of his ten years of research and development work creating the GigaCrete family of building products. The company has licensed the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing rights to all GigaCrete products from Mr. Dennis. Currently, the company has two primary areas of focus:1. The manufacturing and distribution of the GigaCrete family of building products throughout North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico).2. Continuing research & development to create cutting edge cementitious building products. The core of the GigaCrete family of building products is the GigaCrete cement binder. The company's proprietary binder and line of concrete building materials have significant advantages over competitor materials including those that utilize Portland-based cement. Due to the enhanced properties of the GigaCrete binder, it can be mixed with a wide variety of recycled fillers including bottom ash, fly ash, sand, paper mill sludge, and even agricultural waste from food sources. GigaCrete can be mixed to achieve compressive strengths exceeding 8,000 PSI with workable curing times between two and eight hours. And, all GigaCrete products are fire, water, mold, and insect resistant. Additionally, the company has developed an advanced computer controlled vertical manufacturing process and new methods of assembling building products at the jobsite. Limited quantities of the company's StuccoMax, GigaFloor, and MegaProtector products are now being produced and sold from its research and development facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company is also now finalizing plans to construct manufacturing facilities in the southwest and southeast United States in 2006.
