The technology solutions these companies provide address a clearly defined business problem and/or target a niche market. CSG's portfolio of investments reflects this philosophy. EduNeering provides on-line courses that supply compliance training to companies in the pharmaceutical and other industries in which risk management is paramount. Medical Media Systems offers physicians and other healthcare professionals a unique imaging system to improve the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of abdominal aortic aneurysms and other conditions. ProfitLogic supplies retailers with sophisticated analytic tools to improve inventory management and allocation and price optimization. Ground Travel Technology Team delivers sophisticated back-office software packages as well as transactional services and support to the ground transportation industry. Vista Research offers a subscription-based independent research service which enables its institutional clients to access a select network of industry experts who offer current information and overviews of their sectors. CSG will invest as little as $250,000 or as much $1,500,000 in its initial investment in a company, holding back a substantial reserve for subsequent, add-on investments. While CSG typically will invest in the seed or first institutional investment round of a company, the fund will also selectively invest in later stage financings of companies that represent particularly attractive investment opportunities and which are in industry sectors in which CSG's relationships and experience may prove particularly valuable.
