Info

The Lansdale Jaycees is a leadership organization for young people between the ages of 19 and 40. Members have the opportunity to improve themselves while helping others. By participating in the chapter's activities you will have the opportunity to meet, network and interact with groups of young people from the Lansdale area and to conduct worthwhile projects that benefit others in our community. Training opportunities are offered both on the job such as chairing projects, and in classroom with courses and seminars on personal betterment. The Lansdale Jaycees was founded in 1946 and have a proud tradition as well as established projects. Since 1947, we have honored outstanding young persons in our community with our Distinguished Service Awards Banquet. Another project, The Lansdale Jaycees Mardi Gras Parade, has brought Santa Claus to town since 1949, serving over 15,000 community residents. Another important project to the Jaycees, and the community is our Haunted House; it's has scared residents since 1980. We have many other projects and programs such as Christmas projects, monthly socials for our members and their families and friends, as well as individual development programs at each of our membership meetings. Jaycees help you meet new friends, achieve self confidence, expand your horizons and just have fun. Click here to view our PowerPoint Presentation.
