The Lancaster County Library's mission is to provide materials and resources to meet the changing information needs of a growing community. The library system consists of the main library, the Kershaw Branch and one bookmobile. The main library at 313 S. White Street in Lancaster offers children's programs, reference assistance and a wide variety of informational and recreational materials. Online databases and Internet access are available for public use. These services also extend to the Kershaw Branch library on Fork Hill Road in Kershaw. The Bookmobile provides outreach services to remote areas of the county and to children and senior adults in day care settings. The Bookmobile delivers books, audiobooks and magazines to people who do not have ready access to the library.
