Garrard County Chamber of Commerce provides the following services:,Relocation packets containing member informationfor both individuals and businesses,Updating of business information in various Kentucky publications,Inclusion of brochures, business cards in relocation and information packets,Service as a central location for business information,Provision of both written and oral information concerning your business,Business directories listing all member businesses,Updated county and city maps,Information provided by the state government and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce,Recognition of spotlight members of the month,Recognition of outstanding business persons and citizens at the Farm/City Banquet,Membership agreement with Danville/Boyle County Chamber of Commerce ,Links to member businesses through the Chamber web site.Membership in Garrard County Chamber of Commerce involves more than what the Chamber can do for you: we focus also on what member businesses can do for the county. Garrard County Chamber of Commerce has undertaken the following projects:,A golf scramble with proceeds benefiting Relay for Life, Project Graduation, and the Governor William Owsley House, Habitat for Humanity, Up with Youth, and Youth Leadership,Support of the telecommunications center at Garrard County High School provided by the Rural Development Center,The annual Farm/City Banquet,Promotion of Lancaster and Garrard County through brochures, fliers, and pamphlets,Support for local organizations through in-kind and monetary gifts,Cooperation with Garrard County Tomorrow to explore land use planning ,Initiation of a Welcome Committee to provide newcomers with information and gifts from Garrard County,Cooperation with and support of the local Tourism Committee,Continuation of a leadership program to aid both students and adults in gaining the skills necessary to become leaders in the community and to encourage potential leaders to stay in Garrard CountyIf you have any concerns, goals, or ideas for improvement that you would like to voice, please contact the Chamber office at (859) 792-2282.
