Shoestring is a groundbreaking and unique theatre company where talented adults with learning disabilities can produce exciting pieces of performance art and showcase these to a paying public audience. Founded in 2001 by Artistic Director, Claire Snowdon-Darling and counsellor, Ali Croud as it had become obvious that there was no outlet for good performers with learning disabilities to further their skills and deliver important social messages.
