So in March of 2009, Big Sam acquired a very large grill and named her “Gladdis”. Big Sam took his barbeque on the road for catering groups and nonprofit fundraisers in the community. The response has been incredible. Now after two years of test marketing his product, he is ready to open his independent restaurant. Big Sam’s is a fun family style restaurant who serves St. Lou-is style grilled meat with homemade Kansas City Style BBQ sauce. Big Sam’s is a great place to go for a delicious lunch that is served quickly with large portions at a reasonable price.
