Allvan Corporation was formed in 1972 as the continuation of the former Cope Truck Body and Trailer Corporation. When the company's emphasis began to shift more toward manufacturing and away from repair service, Allvan became a major player in the supply of transportation equipment to the moving and storage industry. Custom designs and standard components made our deluxe moving van bodies the choice of not only well known nationally franchised companies but small local operations as well. Since then, we have added other equipment for movers, such as combinations of soft/hard side trailers and bodies, which are becoming well regarded for their suitability in corporate and commercial moves utilizing containers. Since 1981, Allvan has been a force in bringing curtainsided trailers and bodies to the market and has been a leader in the ongoing development of these systems. Plant expansions over the years have resulted in 50,000 square ft. devoted to manufacturing and storage of parts and materials to satisfy an expanding customer base amid changing needs. Our latest expansion is a modern curtain production facility and an enlarged area for applying high IMPACT graphics to any type of body or trailer. Agreements with European and domestic companies have given Allvan the technology, the expertise, and the production rights to offer retractable roof systems (powered and manual) and covered wagon style enclosures. Recent engineering programs have yielded economy variations of equipment and a BUCKLE FREE curtain system design, among others.
