Description of Mt. Helix
Mt. Helix Park is a privately funded, public park. It is open 365 days per year for all to enjoy. The park is operated by the Mt. Helix Park Foundation, a non-profit organization responsible for maintaining and improving the Cross Memorial, Amphitheatre and Park atop Mt. Helix in San Diego's east county. We depend entirely on public donations, as we are ineligible to receive government funding due to the large white cross within our park that is a symbol of San Diego's east county. As such, we urgently need public support to operate the facility and to ensure that this historical place will still be here for future generations to enjoy. http://www.mthelixpark.org
