The mission of the Kershaw Fire Department is to meet the needs of our community in fire prevention, life safety, incident stabilization, and property conservation through updated equipment and the timely response of highly trained fire service personnel. The Department works toward its mission by providing a variety of services including, but not limited to: Extinguishing fires; Providing various levels of rescue assistance; Providing support to the emergency medical services. Providing fire safety inspections and the enforcement of codes; Providing public fire safety education programs; and providing assistance in other hazardous situations. The Kershaw Fire Department is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the citizens of our City.
