Mitco operates a full service distribution facility. This is comprised of an inventory control system with location signatures, supporting any type of distribution need. Our distribution-inventory system (WMS) is integrated with our transportation management system (TMS), which can support shipment details and events as well as inventory status and balances. Our system allows for data export in Access, excel, FileMaker and other formats. We maintain 24 clear ceiling height with a large portion supported by racking dedicated to pick and pack operations. Our staff is fully trained and qualified in internal logistics handling including: Packaging Customs bonded warehouse (CFS) Production Fulfillment Materials purchasing / forecasting Trans-loading Pick and pack 24' clear height ceilings Several of our managers come from an international background, which is very valuable in understanding the coordination between the vessel operators, NVOCCS, Customhouse brokers and terminals. We help link many of these functions and can ultimately reduce product throughput time from the vessel to the shelf.
