The Energy Industry CBT Alliance (EICA) is the nation's largest consortium / network of energy companies that use technology-based training (TBT). EICA was formed in February of 2001 when three large electric utilities decided to work together to share best practices and discover new ways to reduce training costs. The consortium quickly grew as other large electric utilities joined the organization. Today, with over 80 of the largest energy companies participating, EICA is achieving its goal of reducing training costs and providing an organizational structure for energy companies to network with each other and collaborate on shared eLearning objectives.
