MHIP provides comprehensive medical and prescription drug coverage to Missourians who can't get individual insurance due to high-risk health conditions. MHIP also offers Federal Pool coverage, providing health coverage to Missouri residents with pre-existing health conditions who've been without insurance for six months or longer.
