Description of Tryon Road Special Utility District
TRSUD provides sanitary sewer (wastewater) disposal service to approximately 300 customers located in more densely populated areas generally along US Highway 259. These areas include the Hunters Creek Subdivision, Rambling Creek Subdivision, and University Business Park development. TRSUD has been granted the sole authority to provide sanitary sewer service in the TRSUD sanitary sewer service area by the State of Texas through a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity. Questions regarding the availability of and conditions of service within the service area should be directed to the TRSUD office. Note: Residents of The Woodlands, located on Airline Road north of Hawkins Parkway receive water service from TRSUD, but are customers of the City of Longview for sewer service. This is the result of an agreement made between the City of Longview and the developer of The Woodlands some years ago. To see a map of the TRSUD sanitary sewer service area, click here.
